I'm Jennifer Duncan, founder and owner of Fantasy Hair by Jen!
Together, with my daughter Valauna, we started using a unique knot for tying Thai Silk to individual hair strands, starting back in 2019. We call it my “Grandmother's Tie”. Initially, it took me an hour and a half to complete just 10 strands, but with dedication and practice, I can now finish 25 strands in 7-10 minutes. Fantasy Hair by Jen started with a small group of friends, family and s handfull of clients, growing into a business with over 2,200 followers. I appreciate the support of my clients and am grateful for their business. We love and thank each and every one of you!
Hello everyone! I’m Valauna Ivey, aka Rose, and I have been with Fantasy Hair by Jen for six years. I’m Jen's daughter! Hi!! I’m Skyler Totka and I’ve been working with Fantasy Hair by Jen for five years. I am Jen's adopted daughter and Valauna's bestie! You may have seen me as I have worked several events with Jen, many by myself and I have had the pleasure of booking and working several fairy parties over the years!

Jen has trained me in the same signature technique she uses to tie Thai Silk to individual strands of hair, what she calls her “Grandmother’s Tie.” I’ve spent time learning the process hands-on so I can give every client the same beautiful sparkle and long-lasting results you expect from Fantasy Hair by Jen.
You’ll see me working events and helping everyone choose their colors and adding those magical strands of sparkle. I love seeing how excited people get when they catch their Fairy Hair shining in the sunlight!
